A new North America leader for the maker of Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge and Ram has been named as the struggling company attempts a turnaround.

Stellantis NV CEO Antonio Filosa elevated Pablo Di Si to chief operating officer of North America and American brands on Wednesday, Nov. 4, less than four months after Filosa first hired him.

"We’ve made important progress, and there is significant opportunity ahead," Filosa said in a statement. "Pablo is a proven leader who deeply understands the North America market, our business and the importance of disciplined execution. I have great confidence in what he and the North America team will accomplish together.”

Filosa was serving as North America COO when he was tapped to be CEO in June 2025, and he continued overseeing North America after his ascension. Di Si's promotion marks a hand off of the profit-rich market.

“I’m honored and energized to lead a team that has already done so much to turn around this critical business for our Company,” Di Si said in a statement. “We will build from a solid foundation, based on strong execution and relentless focus on our customers across the United States, Canada and Mexico. I look forward to working closely with our employees, dealers, suppliers, unions, and business partners to accelerate our momentum and grow our North American business.”

Filosa hired Di Si in July to serve in a newly created position focused on cost cuts, a critical role as the company seeks to up profits after losing money in 2025.

Di Si previously headed Volkswagen AG's North America and South America business until late 2024. After hiring him this summer, Stellantis in a statement touted Di Si for having a strong track record with company "turnarounds."

As chief performance officer, Di Si was tasked with finding about $6.8 billion (6 billion euro) worth of cost reductions by 2028, compared to 2025 levels.

"Based on what we have implemented already, I am confident that we will exceed our plan to implement 40% of the initiatives comprising the €6 billion target by the end of this year," Filosa told investors last week. "Value creation program) contributed to our results in Q3, and it will provide even more of a tailwind in Q4. With this, I can say we are on track to realize more than €2.4 billion ($2.69 billion) in 2027, plus the partial benefits of all the initiatives we will implement in 2027."

Stellantis Chief Compliance Officer Gustavo Soloaga will take Di Si's job as chief performance officer.

Filosa has quickly reshaped much of the company's top leadership team and switched out key lower positions as he seeks to jumpstart a sales turnaround.

Other leadership changes announced Wednesday, Nov. 4, include a new North America chief financial officer, Jon Nelson. He replaces Joao Laranjo, who had overseen North America finances in addition to new duties as chief financial officer.

Nelson previously served as global head of Stellantis financial services and leasing.

Nelson will be replaced by Alexandre Sorel, who will assume management of global financial services while continuing to serve as head of Stellantis' European financial services business.
