Michael J. Fox is breaking his silence on being very much alive after CNN inadvertently reported that the beloved actor had died.

The “Back to the Future” star, 64, on Wednesday evening posted on Threads — Meta’s answer to X, formerly Twitter — about the bizarre ordeal.

“How do you react when you turn on the TV and CNN is reporting your death?” he asked. “Do you…A) switch to MSNBC, or whatever they are calling themselves these days, (B) Pour (scalding) hot water on your lap, if it hurts (you’re) fine, (C) Call your wife, hopefully she’s concerned but reassuring, (D) Relax, they do this once every year, (E) Ask yourself wtf ?”

The Emmy-winning “Family Ties” alum quipped that though he “thought the world was ending,” it was “just me and I’m ok. Love, Mike.”

CNN on Tuesday sparked concern that Fox had died when the outlet inadvertently published a since-deleted tribute article and video, titled, “Remembering the Life of Actor Michael J. Fox.”

“The package was published in error,” a network spokesperson told multiple outlets. “We have removed it from our platforms and send our apologies to Michael J. Fox and his family.”

A rep for Fox, whose Parkinson’s foundation raises money for research into the disease that has afflicted him for decades, told TMZ that the actor was “doing great.”

“He was at PaleyFest yesterday,” said the rep. “He was on stage and giving interviews.”

Fox appeared at the event as a surprise guest on the panel for Apple TV’s “Shrinking,” in which he’s a guest star in Season 3.

Earlier this year, Harrison Ford, whose “Shrinking” character, Paul, suffers from Parkinson’s, said he hoped Fox’s “grace and courage and indomitability … will help me color my portrayal of a character with Parkinson’s.”
