ROSALÍA will be crowned International Songwriter of the Year at The Ivors 2026 with Amazon Music.

The Spanish superstar has spent the past year bending pop to her will, with her 2025 album LUX becoming a cultural juggernaut.

Packed with multilingual hits like La Perla, Berghain, Reliquia and Sexo, Violencia y Llantas, the record turned into a global obsession, proving she can switch between 13 languages and still dominate charts, playlists and headlines.

Her rise has been anything but quiet. ROSALÍA first shook the industry with 2018's El Mal Querer, then detonated expectations with 2022's MOTOMAMI, a self‑made project that debuted at No.1 worldwide and earned the year's highest Metacritic score.

LUX pushed things even further, landing five Billboard No.1s, debuting at No.4 on the Billboard 200 and sweeping year‑end lists from prestigious publications.

The Ivors Academy bosses were quick to heap praise on her.

CEO Roberto Neri said her songwriting "has captured the hearts and minds of audiences around the globe".

Chair Tom Gray said: "With her craft, musicality and intellect, ROSALÍA is redefining what songwriting can be."

Scooping an Ivor Novello puts ROSALÍA in legendary company -- the same roll call as Sir Paul McCartney, Amy Winehouse, Adele, RAYE, Bruce Springsteen, Charli XCX, Elton John and Stormzy.

This year's nominees include Wolf Alice's Ellie Rowsell, Lily Allen and Olivia Dean, Coldplay, Little Simz, Lola Young, and many more.

Winners will be revealed at Grosvenor House in London on May 21.
