FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. — Pop star Rosalía on Thursday postponed the two concerts at Miami’s Kaseya Center that were to open the North American leg of a global tour supporting the Spanish singer’s hit album, “Lux.”

In an Instagram announcement, Live Nation cited a “family emergency” for the last-minute decision to postpone Miami concerts scheduled for Thursday, June 4, and Saturday, June 6, as well as a show set for Monday, June 8, at the Kia Center in Orlando.

“She is sorry to disappoint her fans, but the circumstances have left her with no other choice. As the tour explores rescheduling, please hold onto your ticket. We will provide more information soon,” the Live Nation post stated.

The Rosalía tour has been among the most eagerly anticipated performances of the summer concert season, with “Lux” provoking universal acclaim.

Calling her “pop’s leading avant-gardist,” The New York Times described Rosalía’s album as “shocking in its formal audacity and its playfulness” as it explores “the feminine divine, faith and the brutalities of love.”
