Karlie Kloss has never met Donald Trump - despite their family ties.
The 33-year-old model has revealed that she's never met the US President, even though she's married to Joshua Kushner, the brother of Trump's son-in-law, Jared Kushner.
Speaking to Bloomberg Originals, Karlie confirmed: "I have never met President Trump."
Karlie was also asked how she navigates the challenges of being part of a high-profile family.
Reflecting on her familial connection to Jared and Ivanka Trump, she explained: "I know who I am. I know the values that guide my life, and the issues that I care about. I haven't lost sight of who I am. But also, it's my husband's family."
Karlie explained that she's been exposed to different political ideas throughout her life. However, the model confirmed that she's a Democrat voter, meaning she doesn't support Trump's Republican party.
She said: "We're sitting here in St. Louis which is a blue dot in a red state. Since as long as I can remember, I've always been exposed to a lot of different political points of view. I think that trained me for my life.
"I'm a Democrat. I think it's possible to have relationships with people you politically don't align with. This country has always been a place for dialogue. We have to be able to talk to each other."
Karlie previously described being part of the Trump family as "hard".
The model - who has been married to Joshua since 2018 - acknowledged that she was raised with "liberal values" and she intended to remain true to those values.
She told British Vogue magazine: "It's been hard.
"But I choose to focus on the values that I share with my husband, and those are the same liberal values that I was raised with and that have guided me throughout my life."
In the same interview, Karlie reflected on her decision to leave Victoria's Secret as a model in 2015.
She said: "The reason I decided to stop working with Victoria's Secret was I didn't feel it was an image that was truly reflective of who I am and the kind of message I want to send to young women around the world about what it means to be beautiful."
