Everything we know about Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's wedding so far

NEW YORK -- Excess was the name of the “Endgame” for Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s love story, which culminated in a Madison Square Garden wedding this past Friday.
From shutting down a chunk of Midtown to welcoming intergenerational A-listers and raffling off a 1970 Chevelle, little about the nuptials was relatable.
Even less of it was subtle. But it’s the spectacle that continues to make it gripping to all the civilians who didn’t make the guest list.
Below, here’s what we’ve learned about the most star-studded phone-free “pinch me moment” of the year, maybe even the century.
The aesthetic
The couple’s “wedding ceremony looks have been created by Christian Dior Haute Couture. They are designed by Jonathan Anderson, Creative Director of Dior Women’s, Men’s and Haute Couture Collections, in close collaboration with the Bride and Groom,” Swift’s rep said Friday evening, in a press release distributed to media outlets. “This is the designer’s first couture wedding dress for a world-renowned celebrity.”
Guests were given a black-tie dress code, per The New York Times.
AMC Theatres CEO Adam Aron said in a lengthy, since-deleted post on both X and LinkedIn, that “everything… floors, walls, ceiling… was draped in peach and white.”
A pair of attendees told NBC News that guests walked through a tunnel lined with photos of the soon-to-be-newlyweds both before and during their relationship, before entering their “Secret Garden.” Aron described them as “large blown up pictures of Taylor and Travis at each age, year by year.”
An insider told People that The World’s Most Famous Arena “looked like a forest,” which is in line with Swift’s “folklore” era.
Despite the reported 1,100 to 1,200 guests, both Aron and “Good Morning America” co-anchor George Stephanopoulos described the event as having felt so “intimate.”
Per Robin Roberts, also of “GMA,” the event “was like any other wedding you would attend.”
Mother of the groom Donna Kelce has described the event as “magical, man, magical.”
The ceremony
An eyewitness told TMZ Swift walked down the aisle to a string rendition of one of her own songs. As The New Yorker wrote, “After the pop star spent years singing about imagined weddings, her life was finally catching up with her art.”
The stars each penned their own vows — which Aron found “long, entertaining, personal, charming, emotional, irreverent and endearing” with the Grammy winner singing for a portion of hers.
“You would think the bride would be the one crying more, but it was actually Travis that was more emotional,” one of the guests told NBC.
Per Aron, it was clear that the couple is “so obviously head over heels about having found their soulmate.”
Who was there?
Per the release, Mr. & Mrs. Kelce — Swift-Kelce? Kelce-Swift? — “did not have bridesmaids or groomsmen.” Swift’s younger brother Austin was her Man of Honor, while Kelce’s big brother and “New Heights” podcast co-host Jason Kelce served as his Best Man, in a ceremony “officiated by friend Adam Sandler.”
Kelce and the Brooklyn-born “Wedding Singer,” 59, worked together on 2025’s “Happy Gilmore” sequel.
Swift, whose recent Eras Tour film and behind-the-scenes docuseries live on Disney+, invited several Disney execs and the hosts of “Good Morning America.” (ABC is also notably owned by Disney.) The move has also fueled speculation that footage from the wedding might also find its way into theaters and, later, onto the streamer. Aron’s attendance has not convinced people otherwise.
Of the thousand-plus guests, some of the most notable include, but are certainly not limited to Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco, Gigi Hadid and Bradley Cooper, Zoë Kravitz, Karlie Kloss, Steven Spielberg, Tom Hanks, Jennifer Lopez, Lena Dunham, Jack Antonoff, Adam Scott, Paul Rudd, Glennon Doyle and Abby Wambach, Jessica Chastain, The Chainsmokers, Ed Sheeran, Dakota Johnson, Jason Sudeikis and Ethan Hawke.
Those from Kelce’s world included NFL stars like Julian Edelman, Beau Allen, Baker Mayfield, as well as sportscasters Joe Buck, Erin Andrews, and Charissa Thompson. Kelce’s coach Andy Reid as well as New England Patriots coach Mike Vrabel — currently embroiled in a scandal involving former Athletic reporter Dianna Russini — were also in attendance, the latter with his wife.
Swift’s former bestie Blake Lively was notably upstate during her rehearsal dinner and reportedly not in attendance at the wedding.
Ashley Smith, sister of Kelce’s teammate Trey Smith, announced she “ended up catching Tay Tay’s bouquet.”
Which stars played a role in the festivities?
In addition to Sandler’s officiating, the Times previously reported that Swift would be performing at the reception with Stevie Nicks. Paul McCartney reportedly sang The Beatles’ “I Want To Hold Your Hand.”
Easter eggs to Swift’s own music
While it’s not yet been confirmed which track Swift chose to walk down the aisle to, the “Jam Session” podcast cited “Wildest Dreams” as the chosen number. The song is from Swift’s 2014’s hit “1989” — an album largely understood by Swifties to be about the superstar’s romance with Harry Styles, who is now engaged to her friend Zoë Kravitz. Styles was invited to the wedding but busy touring, though Kravitz was photographed en route to the wedding.
Guests were given a keepsake lace handkerchief embroidered with “July 3, 2026,” a T&T monogram, “New York city,” and, on the bottom, “So it’s gonna be forever…” That line is the start of the chorus to “Blank Space,” also a “1989” single and Kelce’s favorite of his new wife’s canon.
Still, it’s an interesting choice, given the lyric is immediately followed by: “Or it’s gonna go down in flames.”
What did everyone eat?
It’s unclear what everyone indulged in during the wedding itself, but for the family-style rehearsal dinner, a source told the Times that Sartiano’s catered, with meatballs, caviar cannoli, and spaghetti arrabiata among the offerings.
