DETROIT — Morgan Wallen is gearing up to play the Big House in Ann Arbor not once but twice, Friday and Saturday.

The two dates will be the second and third shows ever at Michigan Stadium, following last year's record-setting debut concert at the venue by Zach Bryan.

The pair of concerts are part of the 33-year-old country singer's Still the Problem tour, named for his 2025 album "I'm the Problem." The smash album spent 13 nonconsecutive weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard 200.

Wallen's last area concerts were a pair of sold-out shows at Ford Field in June 2023. Here's what you need to know before you go to see Wallen in Ann Arbor.

Will these shows set an attendance record?

Not for individual shows. Last year, Zach Bryan packed 112,408 fans into Michigan Stadium for the first-ever concert in the building, making it the highest attended ticketed concert in U.S. history. But Bryan used an in-the-round setup, allowing for fans on all sides of the stadium. Wallen is using a more traditional end-stage configuration, which will block off seats to one entire end zone of fans. About 75,000 people are expected at each concert, according to Ann Arbor police, which means about 150,000 fans for the weekend.

Are tickets still available?

Yes, for both nights. As of Monday, tickets for the Friday night show were listed at $76 to $10,040, and tickets for the Saturday show were listed at $101 to $6,903. What time do the shows start?

Doors to Michigan Stadium open both days at 4:30 p.m., and ticket time on both days is 5:30 p.m. At recent shows, Wallen has been taking the stage between 9:30 and 10 p.m., according to setlist.fm.

Who is opening the shows?

Thomas Rhett will open the Friday show, while Hardy will open the Saturday show. Hudson Westbrook and Blake Whiten will play both nights.

Where should I park?

University of Michigan Lots are sold out, according to mgoblue.com. Parking at Pioneer High School is available for $170 (general) and $530 (VIP) through LAZ Parking. Parking on the UM golf course is $90. Various other lots will be available around the stadium, including several structures within a 15-20 minute walk from the stadium for $65. Plan ahead and accordingly.

Who will Morgan Wallen walk out with?

Great question! Morgan Wallen has made a thing of walking out to the stage with various athletes and musicians and celebrities, from Peyton Manning (in Knoxville, Tennessee) to Drake (Houston) to Travis Kelce (Kansas City, Missouri) to Caitlin Clark (Indianapolis). Who gets the call for Ann Arbor? Well it's not likely to be Jim Harbaugh, and Wallen has already walked out with Tom Brady (in Las Vegas, along with Mike Tyson). Iggy Pop, Bob Seger and Andrew W.K., famous Ann Arborites all, don't seem likely possibilities. Could it be a former Michigan great like Aidan Hutchinson? What about the entire Fab Five? Your guess is as good as ours.

What can I bring into the stadium?

Michigan Stadium has a strict no-bag policy, meaning purses, clear bags, fanny packs, crossbody bags and similar items are not permitted. Additionally, guests will not be allowed to exit the stadium and reenter using the same ticket, so plan ahead.

Where do I enter the stadium?

All stadium tickets can enter through stadium gates 2, 4, 7, 8, and 10.

Ticketholders in GA pits 1, 2, 3 and 4 and sections A, B, C and D must enter through the Northeast Entrance of Crisler Center. Mobile tickets will be swapped for a wristband corresponding to ticketholders' pit or floor seating location. That wristband is required to be worn and displayed to access the floor throughout the event.

Fans sitting in sections 301E-317E and 401E-419E may enter through any stadium gates and use elevators in the NE Tower (Tisch), SE Tower, or main concourse near section 42 to access the 300 and 400-levels.

Fans in suites 501E - 536E are required to enter at the Jack Roth Stadium Club on the east side of the stadium.

What songs are being performed?

Expect around 27 or 28 songs from Wallen, a smattering of his hits, performed on the main stage and with a short set at a B-stage, positioned on the opposite side of the field. Shows have been running around 2 hours, 20 minutes in length.
