NEW YORK — Twenty years after their split, Hilary Duff brought out ex Joel Madden Wednesday during one of her two sold-out shows at Madison Square Garden.

The “Come Clean” singer, 38, and 47-year-old Good Charlotte front man — who were together from 2004 to 2006 — along with his twin brother and bandmate Benji Madden, performed the band’s “The Anthem,” as seen in social media footage.

Disney Channel alum Duff also at one point sported a Good Charlotte t-shirt to sing “Why Not,” her own anthemic hit from 2003’s “Lizzie McGuire Movie.”

Duff’s husband, Matthew Koma, shared a snap on Instagram Stories, in which the couple posed with both Madden brothers as well as Nicole Richie, who has been married to Joel since 2010.

“FAMILY NIGHT @msg CONGRATS @hilaryduff @matthewkoma love yall,” Benji, who is married to Cameron Diaz, wrote when sharing the photo to his own Story.

During a 2023 appearance on “Watch What Happens Live,” Duff said she has “a good relationship with their whole family. … We’re neighbors. And we actually hang out all the time.”

Duff will be back at the Garden Thursday night for “the lucky me tour,” in support of her album, “luck… or something,” her first album in over a decade, which dropped earlier this year. The release ushered in a long-awaited musical comeback, including a world tour, much of which is sold-out.

Duff was also one of four women chosen to cover this year’s Sports Illustrated’s Swimsuit Issue, alongside influencer Alix Earle, Emmy winner Tiffany Haddish and model Nicole Williams English.
