NEW YORK — “American Pie” star Shannon Elizabeth plans to “push those boundaries” on her popular OnlyFans account.

The 52-year-old performer claims she made $1 million in nine days when she joined the adult website in April. The Texas native told Variety in an interview published Thursday she had no idea what to expect when she decided the racy platform would be an effective format for personally engaging with fans.

To the best of her knowledge, she was one of the first actors to join OnlyFans. Stars including Bella Thorne, Cardi B and Drea de Matteo have accounts, too.

Now, Elizabeth thinks it’s time to try new things on the paid-subscription video site that has largely become known for hosting risqué content over the past decade. Roughly 400 million people are currently said to use that platform.

“It doesn’t have to be only for adult entertainment,” Elizabeth said. “It can be whatever you want it to be.”

She decided to join OnlyFans while going through a divorce earlier this year. Elizabeth said she’d been living largely off her savings for about a decade before joining OnlyFans. Her success on the site has given her a new lease on life.

That doesn’t necessarily mean doing nudity, which Variety said isn’t something found on her account. But she doesn’t appear to be ruling anything out entirely, either.

“I do all kinds of content, but I don’t even know what my boundaries will be,” Elizabeth confessed. “I’m still exploring it and, as I become more comfortable with it, I’m going to push those boundaries.”

Elizabeth has appeared in dozens of films over her nearly 30-year career, but her role as sultry exchange student Nadia in the “American Pie” franchise established her as a sex symbol in 1999.
