A historical drama from Ukrainian filmmaker Sergei Loznitsa tops the DVD releases for the week of Sept. 15.

"Two Prosecutors": A recent law school graduate (Aleksandr Kuznetsov) sees his idealism erode as he tries repeatedly to interview a prisoner amid the USSR's Great Purge of the late 1930s.

"Methodical and dreary, the film’s key image is of Kuznetsov walking down endless dismal hallways," writes Los Angeles Times film critic Amy Nicholson in her Cannes review. "He’s polite and stoic, but we all know he’s not getting anywhere. The film plays like a sour joke with an obvious punchline. I respected it fine, but slow and inevitable don’t make great bedfellows."

"Stop! That! Train!": This action comedy finds two stewardesses tasked with saving the day after a storm disables the titular train. Featuring drag icons RuPaul, Ginger Minj and Jujubee.

"Lucky Strike": Scott Eastwood stars in this World War II drama as an injured GI stuck behind enemy lines during Germany's Battle of the Bulge offensive.

"Lion Fist": An MMA fighter who is now an ex-con enters a tournament with $100K prize in this action flick.

"The End of Oak Street": A suburban town is time warped to the Paleolithic era and has to fight off dinosaurs to survive in this creature feature. Starring Anne Hathaway and Ewan McGregor.

"Finding Emily": Angourie Rice and Spike Fearn star in this British rom-com about a musician teaming with a driven psychology student to find his dream girl.

"Nimrods": Green Day's new feature film, written and directed with Lee Kirk, is a road trip movie about a young band striking out on their own, drawn from Green Day's gritty beginnings in the East Bay punk scene of the '80s and '90s.
