Every time I step into the kitchen, I leave my comfort zone. So, when entering the kitchen, I asked, “What do chocolate chip cookies, pizza, chicken, beef and toasted bagels have in common?” In addition to being some of my favorite foods, they can all be cooked in Gourmia's new all-in-one pizza oven/toaster/air fryer.

The multi-functional Gourmia GPM1270 Pizza Oven is a dream come true for anyone who is intimidated by cooking or doesn’t like it. I've found that even experienced home cooks love the easy-to-use countertop oven, which cooked everything we put to task in a recent week of testing. To make it even better, the food was served on an eye-catching serving board.

More on the serving board below, but first to my masterful cooking assistant appliance. The Gourmia GPM1270 Pizza Oven is listed as an all-in-one. Often, products are listed as multi-functional for marketing purposes. But in this case, it's an understatement; this oven really does it all: air fry, bake, broil, dehydrate and toast. As mentioned, we used it for every meal at home for a week. Some days, it started with a toasted bagel and ended with a chicken Parmesan dinner.

I could live on pizza, and this oven makes pizza easy. I can cook homemade dough, supermarket pre-made dough and uncooked pizza to my liking. The oven reaches temperatures around 800 degrees Fahrenheit, which results in perfectly cooked 12-inch pizzas with all the toppings melted and cooked to crispy perfection in just minutes. A cordierite pizza stone is included, and like any other pizza stone, it needs to be preheated to ensure crisp results.

The Gourmia has six specific pizza presets: frozen, Neapolitan, New York, pan, thin crust or just cooking it manually with the front-facing touch controls. I trusted the presets and watched the cooking through the double-pane window. An interior light made everything easy to see.

The other seven cooking functions that made it up for any task are air fry, bagel, bake, broil, dehydrate, roast and toast. Besides the pizza stone, an oven rack, baking pan, and an air fryer basket are included, and all are dishwasher safe (the pizza stone needs to be hand cleaned). Air fryer was our most popular choice of cooking, and the FryForce 360-degree technology circulated the heat evenly for great results. Because of this, we went back to chicken wings several times.

The metal-constructed, 1800-watt Gourmia GPM1270 oven is available at Target for $169.99. It measures 17.01 inches wide by 18.74 inches deep and 10.94 inches high with a 10-pound weight, so it does take up a little more space than other appliances. But with its versatility, you will be able to eliminate others that are no longer needed, such as your toaster or air fryer. It has dual adjustable burners that you can independently customize.

Renew's eco-friendly Gather and Graze multi-purpose prep serving board ($140) was a big hit with a gathered dinner crowd. The attractive 16.1-by-14.9-by-.74-inch serving board has a unique look, described by Renew as a dual-grain design complementing the end-grain inlay stripes. The board has a food-grade natural mineral oil finish.

A unique eco-friendly feature is that the board is constructed with 1,397 recycled bamboo chopsticks. It was perfect for my home-cooked wings, along with charcuterie spreads, sliders or sweet treats. The dual-grain board contains end-grain inlay stripes on both sides. The back has the product detail engraved and includes rubber feet for protection.

The bamboo board needs to be hand washed with a damp cloth, avoiding running or soaking water. Renew recommends using food-grade mineral oil monthly for preservation and protection.

A smaller board (11.22-by-7.4-by-0.74-inches) is available for $55, and a medium-sized model 16.1-by-11.2-by-.74-inches is $115. Both have the same features as the large one, made from 100% reclaimed chopsticks.
