Man held over theft of Homeland Secretary Noem's purse, CNN says

A man has been arrested in connection with the theft on Easter Sunday of Homeland Secretary Kristi Noem’s handbag, CNN reported, citing an unidentified law-enforcement source.
The suspect is in custody and authorities expect more arrests of members of a theft ring that has been targeting the Penn Quarter area in Washington, D.C., the person told CNN.
Secret Service spokesperson Anthony Guglielmi said officials were unable to comment at present, because of concerns “for the safety of our agents and officers,” according to the report. If criminal charges are filed, the Department of Homeland Security will provide public information in line with procedures, he told the news service.
