Meghan Markle's brother is 'person of interest' in dad's sex offense probe

Meghan Markle’s half-brother is a “person of interest” in an investigation into sexual exploitation possibly involving their father.
However, authorities are not calling Thomas Markle Jr. a suspect in Thomas Markle Sr.’s alleged possession of child sexual exploitation material, according to the Telegraph.
“There are indications suggesting that the son may also be involved in the crime, but only as a person of interest so far — he is not yet treated as a suspect,” Philippines’ Interior Secretary Juanito Victor Remulla announced in a news conference.
Markle Sr. became the focus of a police probe after his son reportedly provided pornographic materials to police discovered in his father’s house while Markle Sr. was hospitalized earlier this year following a stroke. The BBC reported last week that the elder Markle’s electronic devices were seized as part of that inquiry.
Remulla told The Guardian at the start of the investigation that the 82-year-old suspect may be a “possible sex offender of the grossest kind” as evidence continued to be examined.
The interior secretary indicated that police are following up on claims that underage girls were brought to Markle Jr., in his home in the Philippines. The 60-year-old person of interest reportedly told authorities he was “merely doing TikTok (videos)” when asked about the underaged girls.
The Duchess of Sussex said she’s “deeply distressed” by the allegations involving her father. She has not commented about the possible investigation of her half-brother.
