ANAHEIM, Calif. — Seven-time Grammy winner Alanis Morissette is bringing her latest live production to Southern California.

The singer-songwriter has announced Butterfly with a Machete, a four-night residency at the YouTube Theater in Inglewood on Nov. 5-6 and 10-11. The limited run builds on the success of the show’s sold-out Las Vegas residency last fall.

Described in a recent news release as a confessional, multimedia stage production, Butterfly with a Machete blends Morissette’s music with personal storytelling, theatrical elements, and reflections on topics ranging from fame and trauma to healing and self-discovery. The production draws from the artist’s own journey, tracing her path from Ottawa, Canada, to international stardom through a series of songs and narrative moments.

According to the announcement, the Los Angeles engagement will mark the first official residency at YouTube Theater, the 6,000-seat venue adjacent to SoFi Stadium.

Presales for the new dates begin June 15, with a Citi cardmember presale opening at 7 a.m. at citientertainment.com. The artist presale starts at 10 a.m. June 16, followed by venue and Live Nation presales later that day. General ticket sales begin at 10 a.m. June 17 at alanis.com.
