DETROIT — Jack White is giving fans an early sneak peek at his new album.

On July 8, White's Third Man Records store in Detroit will host a listening party for "Frozen Charlotte," White's new solo album. The set is due out July 10.

Attendees will have a chance to purchase the album early and partake in specialized party favors, including stamp sheets and safety manual collectibles tied to the new album.

Fans will also be able to enter for a chance to win a signed copy of the new album.

The event runs 4-6 p.m. and admission is free.

A handful of other local record stores will also hold listening parties for the new album, including Dearborn Music (Dearborn and Farmington locations), Ripe Records in Grosse Pointe Park, Big Me Records in Livonia, Rock City Music Company in Livonia, The Detroit Record Club in Royal Oak, Village Vinyl in Sterling Heights and Slick Disc in Trenton. Check individual stores for dates and times.

"Frozen Charlotte," which was announced earlier this month, is White's seventh studio album. The 13-track set was recorded at the Third Man Studio in Nashville, Tennessee, with White's bandmates Patrick Keeler (drums), Dominic Davis (bass) and Bobby Emmett (keys), following White's last tour.

White is due to perform on July 25 at Pine Knob Music Theatre, his first-ever performance at the Clarkston amphitheater.

This week, TMZ reported White's wife, Olivia Jean, filed for divorce from the rocker earlier this month, citing "inappropriate marital conduct."
