Report: Mike Vrabel and Dianna Russini rented a boat together in 2021

Embattled New England Patriots coach Mike Vrabel and former The Athletic reporter Dianna Russini reportedly rented a boat together in June 2021.
The two spent at least a couple hours on a lake in Putnam County, Tenn., while Russini was pregnant with her first child, according to TMZ.
Vrabel was coaching the Tennessee Titans at that time.
Russini and her husband, Kevin Goldschmidt, who she married in 2020, welcomed the first of their two children together in August 2021. Vrabel also has two kids with his wife of 27 years.
TMZ posted photos of a waiver Vrabel and Russini both appear to have signed prior to their alleged 2021 boating excursion.
The pair reportedly gave no indication of being romantically involved, though they were said to have avoided being photographed together before taking a spin on the water.
Questions about the nature of their relationship recently arose after photos of the duo together variously at an Arizona resort, in a casino and at a bar were published.
Russini submitted her resignation letter last month to avoid what she called “a public inquiry that has already caused far more damage than I am willing to accept,” according to The New York Times, which operates The Athletic.
Vrabel previously referred to his alleged encounters with Russini as “completely innocent.”
Neither of them has admitted to any wrongdoing.
Vrabel was a linebacker for the Patriots before becoming the team’s coach and leading them to the Super Bowl in February. Russini is a Bronx native who was raised in New Jersey. She played college soccer.
